48th Annual Seminar

The Maryland Chiefs of Police Association (MCPA) will sponsor its 48th Annual Training Seminar at the Clarion Resort Fontainebleau in Ocean City, Maryland on September 13 – 17, 2009. We would like to invite you to exhibit your products and services at the conference.

This year’s vendor's fee is $575.00 and will provide one draped table and admission for one person to all events. Tickets for additional exhibitors are available. The total number of vendors is limited to 55 and reservations will be accepted on a first come/first serve basis. Exhibit hours are scheduled for Sunday, September 13, 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M., and Monday, September 14, 7:00 A.M. - 3:30 P.M. The fee also includes inclusion of your company on the Association website for one year. To take advantage of the discount registration fee offered, please mail your check and registration form before July 31, 2009, to the address on the Registration Form. After August 1 the fee will increase to $600.00. The Association's tax number is 52-1235349. The equipment/service form should be sent directly to the Clarion.

This year the Maryland Chiefs of Police will offer "Premium" table space. These spaces, which will be very limited, will be located directly alongside of the three "Food Stations" which will be located within the vendor area. By reserving this "Premium Space" you will afford yourself the opportunity to more actively interact with the attendees. In addition to the regular vendor registration fee an additional fee of $275.00 will be required to reserve one of these limited "Premium" (6) spaces.

Most events of the seminar are geared toward casual attire, however, to maintain proper decorum of our Opening Ceremony and Installation Banquet, we ask our attendees to please dress in business attire. Also, plan to attend our Opening Ceremony on Monday morning, where you will be given the opportunity to introduce yourself and your company.

The Seminar check-in and registration is on Sunday, September 13, 2009 at 12 Noon. The first event will begin at 5:30P.M. To maintain security and protect your equipment, all persons entering the vendor area must have a nametag or temporary pass. The Clarion will guarantee rooms for seminar attendees until August 9, 2009. Please contact them directly for reservations at 800-638- 2100.

The Maryland Chiefs of Police Association is comprised of approximately 450 public and private law enforcement officials from local, State and Federal agencies. Your support is essential to the success of our conference and will enable the Maryland Chiefs of Police Association to continue its tradition of promoting cooperative, professional law enforcement in the State of Maryland. If you are unable to participate as an exhibitor, please consider making a financial contribution to the conference. Exhibitors and contributors will be publicized to all participants during the conference, as well as listed on the MCPA web page.
